Abstract:Lignocellulosic biomass is one of the most abundant renewable resources, and its refining technologies play a critical role in addressing energy crises and environmental issues. This review highlighted the recent advancements in lignocellulosic biomass refining, focusing on key processes such as pretreatment, conversion, and product separation. Current challenges and future perspectives were discussed, emphasizing economic feasibility and environmental sustainability. Further efforts should focus on developing novel catalysts, optimizing integrated processes, and advancing industrial applications.
